This was fun. Actually my first use of sheet silver. The finish is

from the annealing process and not pickled or shined.

Earrings

Here is Project #6: Mixed Metal Earrings from Mary Hettansperger "Wrap, Stitch, Fold & Rivet". The red triangles are copper that I pretty much burnt to a crisp on another experiment that didn't go well.

And my first project using sheet silver. My inspiration (and instruction) was from Joanna Gollberg's "Making Metal Jewelry". I will be selling in my Etsy shop. TFL

When Deryn Mentock started her jewelry making challenge in June 2008, I bought Mary Hettmansperger's "Wrap, Stitich, Fold & Rivet" and made a couple of the projects right away. Then I wasn't blogging and had nothing to link to, but now I'm ready. Thank you Deryn for still inviting participants.

An Experiment

After many manifestations I settled on a prong setting. My inspiration is Joanna Gollberg's Prong Series. It's a first attempt at this sort of thing and a bit rough but I feel I accomplished something. The jewels are a bit of glass and pottery I picked up on a walk. TFL
